Here are simple yet effective home remedies for a natural Tourette’s syndrome treatment:
1. Passion Flower Tea Subdues Tourette’s Syndrome Symptoms.
The passion flower is antispasmodic that has the ability to cure Tourette’s syndrome tics. Take some passion flower and boil it in one cup of water. Steep the tea for 5-10 minutes. Strain and drink thrice a day.
2. Take Lady’s Slipper Root Extract To Cure Tics.
Lady’s slipper root holds volatile oils, gallic acid, and inorganic salts that relax spasms and convulsions. Boil 5 tablespoons of lady’s slipper root for one hour. Take one tablespoon after every hour as needed.
3. Valerian Root Tea Curbs Anxiety.
Stress is a major Tourette’s syndrome cause which can be dealt with valerian root. The root has been used as a sedative for centuries. It calms the nerves and relaxes the mind. Take 120 to 200 mg of valerian root powder thrice a day.
4. Skullcap Herbal Tea Helps With Sleep.
Tics and muscle twitching are Tourette’s syndrome symptoms that cause sleeplessness. Skullcap acts as a sedative and induces sleep. It also has antispasmodic properties that relax the muscles. Pour one cup hot water over 1-2 teaspoon of dried skullcap leaves. Cover the tea and let it steep for 20 minutes. Strain and consume before sleeping.
5. Epsom Salt Baths Are Beneficial For Tourettes.
Epsom salt contains magnesium, used in conventional Tourette’s syndrome treatment. Prepare a warm bath for the patient and add a cup of Epsom salt in it. Soak the whole body or the feet in the water for 20 minutes before sleeping. The bath will relax the Tourette’s tics.
