The answer to where is your pelvis located is simple – it forms the base of the spine as well as the hip joint socket. Your pelvis is positioned right below the lower abdominal area. And it comprises the uterus, urinary bladder, vagina, ovaries, testes, and more. Due to certain reasons like infections or inflammation, the pelvic muscles weaken and result in chronic pain. Treatment For Sore Pelvis
1. Try Massaging With Lavender Oil.
Add a few a drops of lavender essential oil to coconut or olive oil. Apply this to the lower abdominal area and gently massage in circular motions. Do this for 5-10 minutes daily. It will improve blood circulation and reduce the pain immensely.
2. Drink Echinacea Tea.
Take echinacea herb and boil it in a cup of water for 2 minutes. Allow it to steep for about 4-5 minutes. Strain the tea and drink it once daily. Echinacea contains anti-microbial as well as anti-inflammatory properties and this helps improve your overall immunity.
3. Treat A Sore Pelvis With Turmeric.
Since turmeric is anti-bacterial as well as anti-inflammatory in nature, it can effectively treat the symptoms of a sore pelvis. Simply drink a glass of turmeric milk once every day till the discomforts reduce.
4. Coriander Seeds Are Great For Pelvic Muscles.
Since gas or indigestion could be the reasons for a sore pelvis, try to work on improving your digestion. Take one tablespoon coriander seeds and soak them in a glass of water overnight. Next morning, strain the water and drink it regularly for best results.
5. Carom Seeds Relieve The Menstrual Discomforts.
Put one teaspoon carom seeds in a cup of boiling water. Add a little jaggery for taste. Drink this mixture one week before your periods and it’ll help reduce the pain along with easing the period flow.
