Roseola, also known as the sixth disease has symptoms similar to that of a viral fever. Therefore, it becomes difficult to diagnose during the initial stages. The roseola rash is a sign that indicates the presence of the roseola virus – which is essentially an infection. It’s a common disease that causes pink rashes in children between the ages of six months and two years. The roseola symptoms are mild and are therefore treatable with home remedies.
What Are The Roseola Causes?
The roseola infection is caused by the Human Herpesvirus type 6 and 7, also known as the roseola virus.

Roseola Treatment
1. Sunflower Seeds Reduce Roseola Symptoms.
The selenium found in sunflower seeds helps aid quick recovery from viral infections. Therefore, you can add these to the kid’s daily diet and cook meals in sunflower oil. This will help heal the roseola symptoms and get rid of the roseola virus.
2. Aloe Vera & Lavender Is Effective Roseola Treatment.
Both aloe vera as well as lavender are soothing for the body. So, prepare a comforting cream with the two ingredients. Take some aloe vera gel and add a few drops of lavender oil in it. Mix well and apply twice onto the affected areas. Leave it to dry for 15 minutes, rinse with warm water and clean with a soft towel. This is an effective roseola treatment.
