Sabuduna kheer is made with milk and cream to provide energy as well as nutrition to the baby. Soak 2 tablespoons of sabudana in one cup of milk. Boil the mixture for 5 minutes till sabudana is cooked. Add a pinch of cardamom powder and feed the baby.
2. Sweet Potato Puree Will Be Your Kid’s Favorite.
When the baby grows older, the need for calories increases. So, to help your kid gain healthy and normal baby weight, boil and mash one sweet potato, add a pinch of black salt and feed. This will help achieve average baby weight.

Veggies are an ultimate source of minerals for the baby. So, you can boil some broccoli, two teaspoons of peas and one clove. Puree the mixture and feed the baby. Make sure the puree is at room temperature. This is an effective recipe for how to increase baby weight.

If your baby does not like vegetables, try giving fruits to help gain normal baby weight. Fruits are an important part of their diet. So you can prepare a fruit custard by adding custard powder in milk. Boil the milk and add some jaggery powder. Stir well and cook until it thickens. Garnish with some fruit slices on top to level up to the average baby weight.
