How To Have A Good Posture? Follow These Tips!
1. Sit straight.
Stop slouching and watch out your posture. It will take you a long way. It not only keeps you away from related disorders, but also makes you appear more confident.
2. Exercise Regularly.
To maintain a good posture, it is important for you to exercise or practice yoga regularly. It helps you remain active, regulates blood flow and also relaxes the muscles.
3. Support Your Back.
If sitting up straight is a pain, support your back. Make use of a cushion for added comfort. It will hold your posture upright and stimulate better muscle activity.
4. Be Carefully Seated.
By this, we mean sit on a chair or at a place with a higher back. This will align your spinal muscles and shoulders, and it will eventually maintain a proper sitting posture.
5. Sit On The Floor While Eating.
One of the major reasons for acid reflux and indigestion is an improper body posture. Yes, the way you sit to eat significantly affects your system. So, the right posture while eating is to sit cross-legged and on the floor with your back straight up, chewing every bite with absolute ease as well as a calm mind.
6. Rule Of Thumb!
That’s what the rule of thumb says – shoulders straight, the chest right out and that belly sucked in. This might take some time, but you will eventually get in a habit and that’ll maintain your body posture.
7. Do Not Forget Your Mattress.
You may spend close to 12 or 14 hours during the day at work or elsewhere, but it is important to ensure that you are getting rest too – both mentally as well as physically. And, this will only be possible when your posture stays correct and the mattress is right. It will support your spinal muscles and also provide quality rest.
