1. Warm Compression Is Soothing.
In case of sharp navel pain, warm compression works well. Although it’s not helpful for infections, it can still relieve the pain. Soak a soft towel in warm water, squeeze out the excess and put it on your belly button daily for 10-15 minutes. This will ease out the belly button pain. A warm water shower can also leave a similar impact.
2. Salt Water Cures Infections.
With the help of a cotton ball, apply some salt water (salt + warm water) thrice daily on the infected area to reduce the pain. This will also improve blood flow.
3. Turmeric Is Therapeutic.
This golden spice is a healing agent. It is antibacterial, antiseptic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory in nature to effectively reduce pain around the belly button. Either apply a paste of turmeric powder mixed in water or drink turmeric milk daily. Add some honey to boost your immune system.
