Asperger syndrome, also called the high-functioning condition, is a type of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Children are the primary victims, and the Asperger’s symptoms are becoming alarmingly common. A majority of people equate Asperger syndrome with autism, however, both of these are different. Asperger’s treatment must be carried out with utmost care.

Asperger syndrome is a developmental disorder that classifies under autism. A child with Asperger syndrome can physically as well as mentally be perfectly fine, but still lacks the ability to socialize. Such kids feel socially awkward and lose their ability to interact. Since lavender oil helps in stress reduction, it greatly soothes the Asperger’s symptoms. Lavender oil is anti-inflammatory in nature. Therefore, mix a few drops in a carrier oil and massage the child’s head before sleeping. Wash off with normal water next morning.

Primary cure for Asperger syndrome is to focus on strengthening brain power, for which one may require a sufficient amount of omega-3 fatty acids. So, include flax seeds in your child’s daily diet or simply give them a tsp of flaxseed powder with water twice every day to treat Asperger’s symptoms.
