2. ACV Lowers Potassium Levels
The presence of high acetic acid in apple cider vinegar can cause reduced potassium levels (also called hypokalemia). The condition can lead to frequent urination, dropping blood pressure, general weakness, and changes in heartbeat.

Since apple cider vinegar is acidic in nature, it can interfere with your body’s normal function and cause an allergic reaction. In case you are on diuretics, laxatives or insulin medications, avoid the use of apple cider vinegar.
