Eye exercises are a wonderful way to not only help improve your vision but also maintain the eyesight. However, a few people actually do it or understand its importance. So, here are five simple eye exercises that you can perform in less than 5 minutes and strengthen your eye muscles.
Eye Exercises To Rebuild Your Vision
1. Create A Figure Of Eight
This is one of the best and most practiced eye exercises which is almost like a game. All you have to do is concentrate on a wall at least 8 feet away and imagine tracing out a figure of 8 with your eyes. The motive is to relax and strengthen your eye muscles. Do the exercise at least 4 times in a day and you’ll definitely feel the improvement.
2. Try Palming To Relieve Your Eye Muscles
Start by rubbing your palms together to produce some warmth. Once done, close your eyes and fully cover them with your palms. Be sure to apply gentle pressure and not be too hard on your eyes. Leave no gaps between your fingers or otherwise. You need to witness complete darkness and focus on the depths of the blackness. Subsequently, practice deep breathing and be present in the moment. Remove your palms and repeat the exercise at least 5 more times.
3. Side to Side Eye Movements To Correct Your Vision
Relax your body and start by moving your eyeballs. Move the pupils from the right side to the left and then from top edge to the bottom. Repeat these movements for at least 10 times and it will help you relax your eye muscles. You can also do this with your eyes closed for an added benefit.
4. Near-Far Focus Technique To Strengthen Your Vision
This is a very simple yet powerful method that improves your vision naturally. Start by concentrating on some stagnant object that’s near to you and focus on the same for a few seconds. After that, focus on an object that’s at least 10-20 feet away. Repeat this eye exercise for 3 minutes twice daily and you’ll feel the difference.
5. Blink Your Peppers To Keep Them Moisturized
This is one of the excellent ways to relax your eye muscles. It also keeps your eyes clean and gives them a break from all that stress. Frequently blink your eyes for a minute and it strengthens your concentration power. But, stop if you feel an excessive strain.
