Home Remedies For Body Odor
1. DIY Lavender Deodorant
Mix about 10 drops of lavender essential oil, 3 tsp of cornstarch and 2 tsp of baking soda. Store it for a couple of days in a dark place and use it afterwards as a natural deodorant. This keeps the odor-causing bacteria off your skin. Plus the floral essence is a bonus!
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
With the help of a cotton ball, directly apply onto your skin some apple cider vinegar mixed with water. This is among the best home remedies for body odor as it’s equivalent to store purchased fragrances. The acidic nature of ACV prevents the formation of bacteria.
3. Fenugreek Tea
To detox from within, drink fenugreek tea on a daily basis. In a cup of hot water, mix a tsp of fenugreek seeds and let it infuse the nutrients. Antioxidants present in fenugreek help treat the condition by working on the root cause and further inhibiting any kind of inflammation.
4. Tomato Bath
Take at least 2 cups of tomato juice and pour it into a bucket of warm water. Let it sit for about 30 minutes and then take a bath with this water. Follow this procedure at least 4 times in a week. This will help you minimize the sweat production along with tightening your skin pores.
5. Rosewater and Apple Cider Vinegar
These two are a perfect combination of home remedies for body odor. Mix 3 tbsp of rosewater in a tbsp of ACV and store the solution in a small spray bottle. Apply this to your body or underarms whenever required. And replace your chemical loaded perfume with these natural home remedies for body odor. Rosewater and ACV both have astringent properties and also leave a pleasant fragrance behind.
